Description from Pistils Nursery
When it comes to low-maintenance houseplants, Zamioculcas zamiifolia is the gold standard. More commonly known by its nicknames ZZ Plant and Zanzibar Gem, this waxy-leafed tropical is native to drought-prone eastern Africa. As such, the ZZ Plant has thick succulent roots, allowing the plant to withstand up to four months without water. The result is a houseplant that is both beautiful and bulletproof, a perfect choice for beginners and spaces without much natural light.
Zamioculcas zamiifolia is simple to care for, requiring little maintenance. Tolerates low to bright indirect light, and watering when fully dry. A slow grower, this plant will form a dense clump, growing to about 2′ tall and 1-2′ wide.
Ships in a 4″ plastic nursery pot. Each specimen has multiple stems, about 4-6″ tall. Leaves measure about 1-2″. Some natural variation in size and appearance may occur.
*Fiberstone Cylinder sold separately. Includes detailed care instructions.
