Gabion Terrace

Redmond , Washington, United States Submitted by Alison Johnson

My son and I built the gabions last summer using local river rock. Each gabion cage was hand made from stock fencing. It was a steep slope and lead down to the creek so was wet too, so this solved the problem handsomely. We planted it up with Washington natives and shade loving perennials.
