Come with us on a tour of Filoli Historic House and Garden in Woodside, CA, which features floral, medicinal, and vegetable gardens.

Filoli’s Garden integrates two English styles: The 18th century Georgian style and the formal English Renaissance style.

The southern garden areas were designed with strict attention to geometry.

A sundial is at the center of this path through the Walled Garden.

Fourteen full-time gardeners at Filoli ensure the plantings are well cared for.

There are 40 wisteria specimens at Filoli, some dating back to 1917.

Pictured is last year’s vegetable garden. In 2021, 3,500 pounds of produce were donated to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and St. Anthony’s Padua Dining Room in Menlo Park.

The sunken edible garden contains edible, medicinal and pollinator plants.
