In Defense of Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemums, often dyed in random colors, are a supermarket staple. We think that this exuberant flower deserves a more considered look. For inspiration, we turned to Polly Nicholson of Bayntun Flowers, who's experimental Chrysanthemums redefine what the flower can be. 

A paler version of C. 'Duchess of Edinburgh'. 

An arrangement with cotoneaster, handfuls of rosemary, and dark scabious 'Black Knight'.  

Crisp, pre-holiday colors in a galvanized bucket. 

'Shamrock', a green spider chrysanthemum. 

Chrysanthemum 'Orange Allouise'. 

A late-autumn arrangement, complete with a gourd.
