Object of Desire: Stylish Stoneware Planters from the Garden Edit - Gardenista
From Austrian designer Matthias Kaiser come ceramic planters with a Japanese flavor.
After studying design and applied arts in Vienna, Kaiser “completed apprenticeships with master potters in Japan,” notes The Garden Edit, where his stoneware planters are on offer (and currently on sale).
A stoneware Platinum Hourglass Planter measures 12 1/2 centimeters high (about five inches) and is on sale for £275 (marked down from £350).
A Gold Faceted Planter commissioned for the Garden Edit as part of the 2016 London Design Festival is 10 centimeters high (about four inches); £225, marked down from £300.
A biscuit-colored Agondje Planter II is eight centimeters high (about three inches) and is on sale for £125 (marked down from £175).
