Stylish Planters from Copenhagen, by Way of Tuscany - Gardenista
Victor Berg started out as a florist in the Norrebro neighborhood of Copenhagen in 1942; he was successful enough to add two additional locations and to start a flowerpot import business, sourcing his wares from Tuscany. Terrain is now carrying the full range of their pots in the US.
A Købenler Scallop Pot made of Galestro terra cotta clay is available in three sizes and two colors, at prices ranging from $18 to $48 depending on size at Terrain.
The pots have drainage holes and come with matching saucers.
The Copenhagen pattern is based on a pot found in a disused nursery in Tuscany.
